This laundry room and mudroom combination proves that even the most functional spaces in a home deserve real design attention. We built custom cabinetry in a soft sage green finish, floor to ceiling, to house a stacked washer and dryer while maximizing every inch of storage around it.
A built-in bench with a solid wood top creates a landing spot for bags, shoes, and daily essentials with drawers built directly underneath for hidden storage. Tall cabinetry on the opposite side adds space for cleaning supplies, linens, or seasonal items, all behind matching custom doors.
Brass hardware throughout ties the whole room together, adding warmth against the sage cabinetry, while a checkerboard tile floor gives the space personality without overwhelming it. It's a room designed to handle daily life and look good doing it.
